We have the natural desire to improve everyday and apply that to our work, and because it's part of our daily life, we're really, really good at learning.
Nobody has to tell us how or when to Google something, watch a video, read an article, and/or listen to a podcast about ecommerce accounting. We are all doing that already.
We are poised and ready to solve any problem through research and hustle.
We know there is an infinite number of things we don't know, and running into something we don't know doesn't embarrass, surprise, or frustrate us - we simply take that as a challenge and another welcome opportunity to learn something new and grow.
We are constantly striving to see the world from as many points of view as we can.
Whether we're traveling the globe to talk to accounting firms in other countries to find out their perspectives, brainstorming in the Accounting Salon about how to make the industry more inclusive, or even attending conferences for "rival" accounting systems, we desperately want to know what we don't know.

There is a wave of technological innovation in the cloud accounting space where automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and new ways of working are all quickly transforming the bookkeeping and accounting space.

We are always keeping an eye out for the "next best thing" that'll make our lives or our customers' lives easier.
We know our accounting tools inside and out. Each team member is a "tool champion" on one or more of our tools so we can freely share deep knowledge about each product among our team and quickly alert others if anything changes.
If we're using accounting technology that should do something more for us than it's doing, we don't keep it to ourselves. We see ourselves as partners with our accounting tool vendors, and we provide feedback to these partners so they can improve their product for us and for the accounting community at large.
We thrive when presented with a challenge. We have an almost compulsive need to solve problems and are amazing at it.

Whether we are racing to get out of an escape room, unraveling a customer's issue, sharing "watercooler" gifs on Slack, attending a Rockies game, or running in a 5k our teammate has organized (hat tip to Jo and the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue), we are grateful for and enjoy our team group experiences.
We also recognize that there's much more to life than work.
Working remotely eliminates our commute and allows all of us to work wherever we are. This means we are able to spend more time with our loved ones and do other things we love beyond ecommerce accounting.
