Clara grew up in Lafayette and found her love for accounting when she began work at 15 years old for a family-owned hair salon in Boulder. Her boss worked closely with her and had her completing taxes and payroll tasks by 17. This provided her with a solid foundation when college came and she chose to pursue her degree in accounting and finance.

After moving to Denver and just before graduating with her BS in Accounting, she obtained a job as an accountant for a local restaurant chain where she continued to fall in love with numbers. She was a key employee as she helped with redoing standard operating processes.

She is graduating with her Masters in Accounting in Spring 2021 and will be CPA certified by the end of 2021.
