Eileen discovered early on that she had a gift for working with numbers. She always excelled in her high school math courses and was an integral part of her school competitive math team. Eileen also studied business in high school and it was her love of business and numbers that inspired her to study Business Administration at George Mason University, in Virginia, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Accounting Information Systems.
After working in finance and technology in various industries, Eileen found that she had a passion for education and teaching. She attended Virginia Tech and earned a Master’s in Education. Eileen became a highly-regarded Business Education and Information Technology Teacher for a local school district. She taught accounting, finance and a variety of technology courses. In addition, she was integral in the development of the district curriculum for finance and updating the information systems program.
After moving to Colorado, Eileen worked as a bookkeeper and eventually discovered the new and exciting changes that were happening in the field of accounting and technology. Eileen is excited to bridge her passion of numbers, technology and helping others into one career at Catching Clouds.
Eileen loves Colorado and all the beautiful wildlife and nature it offers. She loves exploring all the parts of Colorado she hasn’t seen and discovering small mountain towns and learning about their unique histories.
